3rd STAGE OF WORLD INLINE CUP 2026 IN EINSIEDELN, SWITZERLAND

After 16 years Inline Skating is returning to one of the most beautiful international racecourses

Next Saturday, June 27th, the third stage of this year's WORLD INLINE CUP starts in Einsiedeln, Switzerland.

After a 16-year break, a real highlight is returning to the international Inline racing calendar! Both top international WIC athletes and amateur skaters will enjoy the beautiful course around Lake Sihl. Following the successful WIC Marathon in Rennes, won by Maria Jose Quiroz (COL) and Bart Swings (BEL) – both members of the Powerslide Vesmaco World Team – athletes from the best international teams will once again compete against one another to earn further points towards the WIC overall ranking. Alongside the current men’s leader in the WIC individual overall standings, Manuel Taibo (ESP) of the Shea Stokes World Team, his team-mates Julio Mirena (PAR), Martin Ferrié (FRA) and Carlos Tarazona (ESP), amongst others, will be on the starting line. For the Powerslide Vesmaco World Team, the men’s line-up is expected to include the winner from Rennes, Bart Swings (BEL), as well as his team-mates Felix Rijhnen (GER) and the Frenchman Ewen Fernandez. For the Rollerblade SPSPSK World Team, Hugo Gerard and Rico Garcia, amongst others, will be competing in the men’s event. Manao FRSkates will be represented by Nolan Beddiaf (FRA), Elias Peschek and Luca Rudolph (GER). For the Doubleff Team, the Belgian Brecht Lippens will be competing in the men’s event. Leandro Gross is among those entered for Team Arena Geisingen in the men’s event.

A top-class field of competitors will also line up at the start in the women’s event. Domenika Gardi (HUN) from Arena Geisingen, Lianne van Loon (NED) and Keily Delgado (COL) from the Powerslide Vesmaco Team, Noraly Berber Vonk (NED) and Aubane Plouhinec (FRA) from the Rolerblade SPSPSK World Team, Jorun Geerts (BEL) from the Doubleff Team, Aura Quintana (ESP) and Marie Dupuis (FRA) from Shea Stokes are among the favourites for this season’s third WORLD INLINE CUP Marathon in Einsiedeln tomorrow.

The start will be on the 27th of June at 6pm, Award Ceremony at 8.30pm. The next stop of the WORLD INLINE CUP after Einsiedeln will be in Troyes, France on September 13, followed by Duluth (USA) on September 19, and Berlin (GER) on September 26.

 

WORLD INLINE CUP

The WORLD INLINE CUP (WIC) is since 2000 the highest international marathon series for inline speed skaters. The world´s best skaters take part in the world's most demanding and biggest marathon races in Europe and Asia and meet fitness skaters from all over the globe. The overall winners will receive prize money after the season. Since 2014 the organizer of the WORLD INLINE CUP is IGUANA Deutschland GmbH
