ONE DAY TO GO UNTIL THE WORLD INLINE CUP FINAL IN BERLIN

The BMW Berlin Marathon Inline Skating event on September 26 marks the final stop of the 2026 WIC season, featuring top stars and thousands of fitness skaters

Tomorrow is the big day: Thousands of skaters will line up at the starting line for the season’s highlight, the BMW Berlin Marathon Inline Skating, between the Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column.

Top stars such as Bart Swings, Felix Rijhnen, and Ewen Fernandez from the Powerslide Vesmaco World Team, Nolan Beddiaf (FRA) from the ManaoFRSkates World Team, Hugo Gerard (FRA) of the SPSPSK Rollerblade World Team, Patxi Peula (ESP) of NL Racing, and Carlos Tarazona (ESP), Manuel Taibo (ESP) and Julio Mirena (PAR), all three from the SheaStokes World Team, are just a few of the top skaters who will compete for the title of the world’s largest street marathon and the overall victory in the WORLD INLINE CUP.

In the women’s race, the cream of the crop is also represented in the leading group, including Keily Delgado (COL) and Lianne van Loon (NED), both from Powerslide Vesmaco World Team will be on the starting line alongside top athletes such as the 2025 WIC overall champion, Aura Quintana (ESP) of the SheaStokes World Team, and the 2025 Berlin Marathon winner, Aubane Plouhinec (FRA) and Noraly Berber Vonk (NED), both from the SPSPSK Rollerblade World Team.

But the Berlin Marathon wouldn’t be the Berlin Marathon if thousands of enthusiastic fitness skaters weren’t lining up and taking off alongside or behind the top stars.

So tomorrow, the center of Berlin will once again become the center of inline skating.

The first starting gun will go off on September 26 at 12:20 p.m. As last year, the inline marathon route will consist of five laps around the Victory Column and Ernst Reuter Platz before leading the skaters through the centre of Berlin and past the famous Brandenburg Gate to the finish line.

In the evening, starting at 9:00 p.m., the big skaters’ closing party will take place at the Metropol on Nollendorfplatz. That’s where all the overall winners of the WIC—both individual athletes and teams—will be crowned.

We wish all skaters a sunny, fall-free, and successful marathon—and a fantastic closing party!

Philosophy

The World Inline Cup stands for top sport. The best skaters in the world are at the start of every event. They appreciate the perfect organisation, the most beautiful and centrally-located courses, and the professional marketing of the Inline Skating sport in the media. And they know that the organisers of the Inline movement love the sport.

The World Inline Cup stands for mass movement. Every stage is also a festival on rollers without discrimination, without licenses. For the large masses the fun-oriented experience is first and foremost: the thrilling atmosphere, the pulsating program and the knowledge that the hobby skaters are taken just as seriously as the pros by hat organisers. The World Inline Cup is a platform for the entire family and with family-related services.

The World Inline Cup successfully combines sport, fun and adventure with culture. The core of events is the pulsating Inline Village with the best brands, the newest products and exciting activities. And of course, parties with imaginative catering are part of the experience.
