Harbin, China, On Track To Host the WORLD INLINE CUP 2017

WIC Delegation in Harbin for a site visit

After the first race of the WORLD INLINE CUP season 2017 in Incheon, Korea, a WIC Delegation visited the organisers of the WIC marathon in Harbin, China, where a TopClass Race will be hosted for the first time on 15th July.

The Delegation (Petr Stastny, President of the WIC, Volker Schlichting, Executive Director and François Gigan, Race Director) was impressed by the professional preparations of the Organising Committee and inspected not only the 6.3 kilometres long circuit but also the official hotel and the visited beautiful historical centre well known for its historical Russian legacy. The City which is also famous for its annual Ice Festival is the capital and largest city of Heilongjiang province in the north-eastern region of the People's Republic of China, two hours by plane from Beijing. “We are sure, that the first WORLD INLINE CUP in Harbin will be a successful and professional marathon. The circuit, the Local Organising Committee, the accommodation for the athletes combined with the Chinese hospitality will be a special experience for all skaters”, said Petr Stastny, the President of the WORLD INLINE CUP.
