KICK-OFF THE 2022 WORLD INLINE CUP SEASON IN RENNES, FRANCE ON 22nd MAY WITH A 40-YEAR CELEBRATION EVENT INCLUDING A LARGE FESTIVAL AND INCREASED PRIZE MONEY
Berlin, Rennes, 17. March 2022, after a covid cancellation break in 2020 and 2021, the marathon in Rennes, France is back and ready to celebrate. In coordination with Cercle Paul Bert the long-time event is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a one-time increase in prize money. Athletes of the International Marathon can win 7’000EUR for the 2022 Rennes win, a 2’000EUR increase from years before. Skaters and Teams can register in the "Events & Registration" section of the WIC website (www.world-inline-cup.com/registration). The event will have varied programs combining sport and spectacle, amateurs and pros around a common passion, urban sliding (Roller, BMX, Scooter & Skate). The 40th Rennes sur Roulettes Roller Festival will once again be a highlight for the roller sport and it will be one of the top events for roller sports across all of Europe. We want to celebrate together the 40th anniversary of Rennes sur Roulettes and the start of WIC 2022.
