AFTER SUCCESSFUL WORLD INLINE CUP IN JULY 2022 IN L'AQUILA, ITALY NOW HOST CITY OF THE EUROPEAN ROLLER SPEED SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE MAIN CITY of the ABRUZZo region
L’Aquila/Berlin, 18. August 2022, L'Aquila, the capital of the Abruzzo region and official stop of the WORLD INLINE CUP, is on the verge of another highlight in international roller sports. At the beginning of July 2022, a top-class international field of starters competed for the podium places at this year's third stop of the WORLD INLINE CUP. In the women's race, Aura Quintana from the Rollerblade Team came out on top against Josie Hofmann (Powerslide Matter Racing Team) and Federicia di Natale (C.P.G.A. ASD). In the men's category, Nolan Beddiaf (EOSKATES World Team) won ahead of Felix Rijhnen (Powerslide Matter Racing Team) and Fabio Francolini from Italy. Both winners from L'Aquila are also the current leaders in the WIC overall standings.
4th-11th September 2022 European Roller Speed Skating Championships in L’Aquila
Before the BMW Berlin Marathon Inlineskating on 24 September, another major international speed skating event will take place. The European Roller Speed Skating Championships will take place in L'Aquila from 4 to 11 September 2022.
