2nd STAGE OF WORLD INLINE CUP 2026 IN RENNES, FRANCE

12 WIC teams from 14 countries will compete against each other in the Breton capital on 31 May

Livestream will be available

Next Sunday, May 31st, the second stage of this year's WORLD INLINE CUP starts in Rennes, the beautiful capital of Brittany. Once again, a roller sports festival is being celebrated over two days in the center of the city, now in its 44th edition. In addition to BMX and inline slalom competitions and numerous roller sports activities for young and old, there will once again be a fun run for everything that has wheels. But half marathons and marathons for masters are also on the extensive program this weekend. The sporting highlight will once again be the WORLD INLINE CUP marathon, where a very high-class elite of top teams from 14 countries will meet this year to fight for further points in the WIC overall ranking.

In the men's event, the question is whether Manual Taibo (ESP) from the SheaStokes Inline Speed Team will be able to extend his overall WIC lead at the 2nd WIC stage in Rennes, France after his victory in Funchal. In addition to Manuel Taibo, Julio Mirena (PAR), Carlos Tarazona (VEN), Adrian Alonso (ESP), and Martin Ferrié (FRA) will start for SheaStokes. In the Powerslide Racing Team, Bart Swings (BEL) is expected to be at the starting line alongside Germain Deshamps (FRA) and Ewen Fernandez (FRA). But the Frenchmen Nolan Beddiaf and his teammate Matthis Rocher (MANAO FRSKATES World Team) are also among the top favorites and have already stood on the podium in Rennes several times. Other top international athletes include, for example, Rico Mateo (COL), Hugo Gerard (FRA), Rafael Heredia Barba (ESP), and Kevin Foumeret (FRA) from the Rollerblade SPSPSK World Team; Brecht Lippens (BEL) and Fabio Monchiero (ITA) from the Doubleff World Inline Team; and Doucelin Pedicone (FRA) from the NL-Racing Team round off the top international line-up. The SAM Racing Team from Ukraine has also made its way to Brittany once again with Oleksandr Symonenko and Nazar Kulyk.

On the women's side, the Shea Stokes World Team has entered Aura Quintana (ESP), Marine Lefeuvre (FRA), Marie Dupuy (FRA), Alejandra Londono (COL), and Natalia Pesantez (ECU).

The women’s team from Rollerblade SPSPSK World Team is also well represented with Manon Fraboulet (FRA), Aubane Plouhinec (FRA), Axelle Colange (FRA), and Noraly Berber Vonk (NED). Lianna Van Loon (NED), Julou Maiwenn (FRA), Garcia Garoll and Keily Delgado (both COL), and Maria Jose Quiroz are expected to compete for the Powerslide Vesmaco women’s team. The new WIC Team Roller Sports Troyes World Team will be represented by Rebecca Guard and Maeva Reiss (both from France). Anna Muzyka and Yaroslava Dudnyk will compete for the SAM Racing Team from Ukraine.

We wish all athletes and visitors a successful weekend of roller sports. Those who cannot be there can follow the race via live stream. https://fb.me/e/4FRN7beGm
