Successful Revival at the 2026 World Inline Cup in Einsiedeln, Switzerland

Keily Delgado of the Powerslide Vesmaco World Team and Adrian Alonso of the Shea Stokes World Team win the marathon around Lake Sihl

In glorious summer weather, inline skating made its long-awaited return to Lake Sihl in Einsiedeln, Switzerland, after a 16-year absence.

The weather conditions were challenging for all athletes. With outdoor temperatures reaching 30°C, the course led four times around the beautiful Lake Sihl, not far from Zurich.

Already on the first lap, Carlos Tarazona (ESP) of the Shea Stokes World Team broke clearly away from the field, splitting up the high-calibre group of starters. Pre-race favourites such as Bart Swings, Felix Rijhnen, Nolan Beddiaf, Julio Mireno and Martin Ferrié initially remained close together in the chasing group. Adrian Alonso then moved to the front, taking over from his teammate Carlos Tarazona. Finally Alonso went on to secure victory with a clear lead ahead of his teammate Julio Mireno and Felix Rijhnen (GER) of the Powerslide Vesmaco World Team.

In the women’s race, the group of favourites stayed together for a long time before a lead group featuring Keily Delgado (COL) of the Powerslide Vesmaco World Team, Alejandra Londono (COL) of the Shea Stokes World Team and Jorun Geerts (BEL) of Doubleff managed to break away. In the end, Keily Delgado prevailed ahead of Alejandra Londono and Jorun Geerts, crossing the finish line first.
