Top Skaters come to Dijon to compete in the third race of the WIC 2018

The upcoming race in Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, can enjoy a huge popularity with more registrations of international top skaters than in the past 5 years.

This Sunday afternoon (10th June), the best skaters from 16 different nations will compete in WORLD INLINE CUP’s third race of the 2018 season. Both male and female winners of the recent race in Rennes, the Belgian Bart Swings (Powerslide/Matter RacingTeam) and the French Maelann de Roux (BONT Skates) will try to repeat their success. The French elite continues with Rennes’ second places, Martin Ferrié (EOSkates World Team) and Marine Lefeuvre (WIC Single Athlete). Manon Kamminga from the Netherlands (BONT Skates) and the Columbian Aura Christina Quintana Herrera (EOSkates World Team) will fight for good placements and points too.

Current WORLD INLINE CUP leader Ewen Fernandez, has switched teams and is racing for the Rollerblade World Team together with strong teammates like Mike Paez from Mexico. But also, the French World Champion Nolan Beddiaf (EOSkates World Team) and Gary Hekman from Netherlands (BONT Skates) will be strong contenders. Five more teams and many more individual starters will give their all in the midst of this year’s season.

WIC Calendar 2018

The next stage of the WORLD INLINE CUP will take the international skating elite to the Czech Republic. On Saturday, June 16th, the city of Ostrava will host the fourth WIC race of the season. After the second last leg on the 14th July in Harbin, China the WIC Season 2018 will culminate in the combined finals of the WORLD INLINE CUP and GERMAN INLINE CUP on 15th September in Berlin.
