AUBANE PLOUHINEC (FRA), AND EWEN FERNANDEZ (FRA), WIN WORLD INLINE CUP FINAL AT THE BMW BERLIN MARATHON

Berlin, 20 September 2025 – In bright sunshine, thousands of professional and recreational skaters once again took to the starting line in the heart of Berlin for the BMW BERLIN MARATHON. As the highlight of the 2025 inline season and the finale of the WORLD INLINE CUP, the world's largest international road marathon series in inline skating, the athletes enjoyed the route through the city centre. After the final sprint in front of the Brandenburg Gate, it was not only about winning the day but also about claiming the crown of the 2025 WORLD INLINE CUP in the individual and team rankings. After races in Funchal (POR), Rennes (FRA) and Schaffhausen (SUI), the skaters and teams were able to collect the last decisive points for the overall ranking, which this year is endowed with USD 8,000.

Ewen Fernandez (FRA) from the Powerslide Vesmaco Team won the men's race with a magnificent comeback. After standing on the podium as the winner in Berlin in 2012, he won the Berlin Inline Marathon for the third time today in spectacular fashion after 13 years, followed by Nolan Beddiaf (FRA), Manao FRSkates and Hugo Gerard (FRA), SPSPSK ROLLERBLADE WORLD Team.

In the women's race, Aubane Plouhinec from the SPSPSK ROLLERBLADE WORLD Team prevailed against her teammate Noraly Berber Vonk (NED) and Laura Perdomo (COL) from the UltimaVPBearings Team.
