Organised by SCC EVENTS, the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON Inline Skating marks the grand finale of the season. At the last weekend in September, more than 5,000 professional and leisure skaters capture the German capital and enjoy 42.195 car-free kilometers right through the city. 250,000 spectators along the course and packed grandstands behind the Brandenburg Gate promise a race filled with excitement. As the finale stage of the WORLD and GERMAN INLINE CUP, the world’s largest and fastest inline skating marathon welcomes participants from more than 60 countries who turn the weekend into an international festival on wheels. The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON is more than a race – and that can be noticed at every corner.

World Inline Cup Final 2019 This Saturday (28th) in Berlin

After thrilling races in Oropesa del Mar (ESP), Rennes (FRA), Dijon (FRA), Ostrava (CZE) and Harbin (CHN), skaters will compete for overall victory in the 2019 WORLD INLINE CUP at the final, the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON INLINESKATING, this Saturday, 28th September, in the German capital.

The world’s biggest Inline Marathon, where this year more than 5,000 participants will compete, is not only the final of the WIC but also of the GERMAN INLINE CUP.

The men’s race for WORLD INLINE CUP overall victory will be decided between three international top skaters. German Felix Rijhnen (Powerslide Matter Racing Team) is leading with 486 points followed by Patxi Peula (Vitoria-Gasteiz International Team) from Spain with 375 points and the current World Champion from France Nolan Beddiaf (EOSkates World Team) with 340 points. Many other WIC Top skaters like the multiple World Champion Alex Cujavante from Colombia, the five-time Berlin Marathon winner Bart Swings (Powerslide Matter Racing Team) from Belgium, Ewen Fernandez (Rollerblade World Team) from France and many others from the International elite will enjoy together with thousands of fitness and leisure skaters the famous marathon in downtown Berlin.

In the women’s race, with 480 points, Colombian Aura Quintana Herrera (Vitoria-Gasteiz International Team) is followed very closely by the winner from last year Katharina Rumpus (Powerslide/Matter Racing Team) from Germany with 431 points.

The women’s team ranking is very close this year between Vitoria-Gasteiz International Team (773 points), CastellonSpain Signpost Marathon (745 points) and Powerslide Matter Racing Team (739 points). In the men’s ranking the Powerslide Matter Racing Team is comfortably leading with 968 points before Vitoria-Gasteiz International Team (634 points), CastellonSpain Signpost Marathon (563 points), EOSkates World Team (531 points) and Rollerblade World Team with 341 points.
