WORLD INLINE CUP leg in Rennes, France (31st May 2020) cancelled

Organised by the Cercle Paul Bert Rennes association together with Rennes City Council, under the aegis of both the French and International Roller Skating Federation, Rennes sur Roulettes celebrates a weekend’s, « roller festival » and more largely glide sports where anybody will be able to learn, size up their skating skills and marvel at those of others during the popular annual sporting event – all for free! One highlight of this roller festival is the International Inline Marathon which is since 2002 a leg of the WORLD INLINE CUP.

Berlin, Rennes 20th March 2020. Due to the growing global crisis around the coronavirus the Organising Committee of the Rennes Sur Roulettes WORLD INLINE CUP Marathon have decided to cancel the 38th edition of the traditional event which was planned for the 30th/31st of May 2020.

After discussing with partners and authorities the organisers could not find an alternative date for a postponement. The WORLD INLINE CUP Team wishes the organisers in Rennes all the best and looking forward to the next season 2021.
